The Drug Free Sarasota Hospital Advocacy Award is modeled after the Physician Advocate Award program.
It awards those who house the literature holder in a high traffic area of their facility, assisting our community at a critical time in getting out its most relevant, timely information on Narcan, Marchman Act, RX Abuse and Misuse, signs of Opioid overdose, Drug Free Youth program and more!
Sarasota hospitals being awarded by the Sarasota Medical Alliance Foundation and the Drug Free Sarasota Coalition have agreed to support this initiative in the following ways:
OPIOID and RX LITERATURE PROMOTIONAL SUPPORT
We ask that you house this award literature holder in your Emergency Room waiting room area to ensure high traffic promotion of the most timely and critical information on opioid abuse and misuse created by our Drug Free Sarasota Coalition.
We request a photo op dedication of this literature holder with your C.E.O., physician liaison and/or chief of staff or others whom you would like to engage in showing your support of this issue.
PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT ASSISTANCE
Post a physician recruitment flyer in your doctors' lounge to assist us in continuing to further recruit physicians into our program.
Allow us to possibly speak very briefly at a staff meeting on this program or allow us to place a copy of the recruitment flyer (mentioned above) in a copy of your electronic or print newsletter.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT (optional)
We request a financial donation towards our annual health projects, to be earmarked for this inititative. The funds you donate will assist us in replenishing the literature going out of 75 physician offices county-wide and and other important health distribution locations as well as execute important promotional initiatives to grow the program Supporting hospitals will be recognized during our media promotional campaigns.
